I love film.
From when I was a little, I have liked observing planes flying up in the sky. Watching them, I dreamed of discovering new, unique, diverse places. I was born and raised in the USSR. Having friends and classmate of different ethnic background, I was always fascinated by their diverse life stories. I was fascinated as well by their faces, on which life had left its marks and changes. This led me to begin taking photographs, at first on my father's camera before moving to the newer digital version.
I attended and graduated from the Cinematography program at a university in Novosibirsk (Russia). There I learned ways to refine how I could capture moments. It also gave me the chance to work with the film and develop it, a process where every frame can be more appreciated. From the History of Visual art to Art of montage, from Filming to Film Direction, all were milestones as I defined my vision of creating. In these, I was inspired by cinematic innovators such as Flaherty, Eisenstein and many more.
My experiences as a camera operator, video editor and video designer in making documentaries and diverse TV programs were my first steps in the professional world. While living in Rome, I worked on a media campaign for a project at UN FAO. Presently, I reside in Budapest, Hungary, where use my skill set for creating many sorts of videos for diverse organizations, including the UN.
Having a wide range of skills gives me flexibility to photograph, film, edit and to tell stories.
